Last week we began our series on internet marketing strategies discussing Testing and Tracking. Go here to check it out. This week we will continue with Interaction, an underrated internet marketing strategy.
Interaction
You may be saying interaction is a given, but is it really? When you’re networking on various social networks, have you ever seen posts or tweets go unanswered or receive no response at all?
It’s not the end of the world for the person who published their well-thought-out post or tweet, but if it’s your fan, follower or subscriber, you could potentially become to them one in a million who is trying to sell them something simply because you didn’t interact. Â In other words, they don’t feel as “special” to you as they once did.
Social Networking Tips
No matter how busy you are, you should make an effort to respond, even it’s as simple as clicking the “Like” button. The publisher will feel “special” because you took the time out to read and respond.
Try to spend at least 10 minutes a day on the networks where your fans, followers, and subscribers hang out. These 10 minutes should be when they are on the networks.
In our upcoming webinar, we will discuss how to determine what time of the day your fans, followers, and subscribers are usually networking.
Virtual Assistants
If you are too busy to spend a lot of time reading posts and/or tweets, hire a Virtual Assistant (VA). S/he can sort through them and forward to you the ones that need your attention. This will save you a lot of time.
There are VAs who specialize in social networking, as well as social media marketing. Since they are skilled in these areas, there’s no need for you to train them; again, saving you precious time.
How is your level of interaction on the social networks? Join in the conversation by commenting below.
Come back next week as we continue our series on internet marketing strategies. As always, thanks for reading!
