Last week we introduced the products funnel, also known as a sales funnel. Go here to read the first part of our discussion on products funnels.
This week we will continue our conversation on products funnels focusing on looking down the road when setting up your start-up and products funnels.
Your Target Client
Say, for example, your target audience consists of baby boomers who are launching their first start-up. Some of these baby boomers have moved beyond just thinking about it and have put their business idea into action. In this case, your target clients will be at different stages in their start-up.
Products Funnel
In the above example, when setting up your business, create more than one products funnel that will accommodate those baby boomers who are at different stages in their start-ups.
For example, the group who hasn’t launched yet, offer them a free report on “How to Choose a Business Idea” in exchange for subscribing to your list.
On the other hand, you can offer to the group who has launched their start-up a free recorded webinar with a purchase of a report at a low cost on the subject of Using Social Media to Market Your Business. At this point, they have entered another one of your related funnels.
Planning Process
As we mentioned last week, you will need digital products to create a products or sales funnel. Creating your products are part of your planning process for launching your start-up. You want to have them ready to go as your potential client moves down the funnel. In addition to using the products to create your funnels, they will also generate a passive income for you.
Which digital products have you created for the purpose of earning a passive income and creating products funnels? Join the conversation by commenting below.
We will wrap up our discussion next week on products funnels. As always thanks for reading!
